Sage Pay - formerly Protx Sage Pay provide secure online credit and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order businesses across the UK. OneStopEcommerce recommend Sage Pay as a provider of card transaction services as their reputation and service is second to none, their security fecilities are water-tight and their online administration tools are easy to understand. Managing your card transactions could not be simpler. When a customer makes a purchase from your site and elects to pay by card, they are redirected to a secure area within Sage Pay for the actual transaction to take place. As the financial transaction itself is performed outside of your ecommerce site, you are never in possession of customer card details. When the transaction completes, the customer receives an email containing the details of the transaction and so does the vendor. Again, no sensitive information is transmitted to either party. Sage Pay are advocates of two well-established additional anti-fraud facilities, Verified by Visa for VISA transactions, and MasterCard SecureCode for MasterCard customers. Both systems require the customer to enter additional security information during the submission of card details, they offer additional peace of mind for online shoppers. Furthermore, transactions authorised using either Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode (courtesy of Sage Pay's 3DSecure feature) indemnify the vendor against potential chargebacks as the result of fraudulent transactions. We are pleased to recommend Sage Pay to our customers. Click here to set up your Sage Pay account. PayPal An established and trusted payment provider, PayPal has been around for years and is the preferred method of payment for eBay transactions. Millions of online transactions are carried out every day by PayPal. Once you sign up for PayPal, you can send money to anyone with an email address. You can use money from your PayPal balance or from another payment method of your choice, such as a credit card, debit card or your bank account. Recipients are then notified by email that they have received a payment from you. Users can either log into their PayPal accounts and pay that way, or pay via their debit/credit card using PayPal in place of Sage Pay (if they do not have a PayPal account already in place). |
